Why not use a template?
One of the many problems with template based sites is that a real estate agency and a bakery could end up with identical color schemes and page layouts. Two businesses that are not the same deserve to look different, and our fully custom design ensures that.
Another major problem is that template design usually does not fit content properly. Because these layouts are designed for unknown purposes, your content will likely not fit nicely. Your site might require more space, maybe less space for text but more room for pictures, a news section updated everyday, or something as simple as your logo or favorite colors. Template options may be too scarce, and it’s not uncommon to need to look through hundreds of options to find something that will suffice.

We try and keep our site designs clean and clutter free. Flashing graphics will tend to get unnoticed because it’s annoying, and many viewers will, “tune it out.” Our goal with the Basic Web Solutions is simple. We want our sites to work.

It’s normal to want to have a website with many different pages and links, but websites should have the lowest possible number of sections. Numerous studies have shown that users feel inconvenienced and “let down” when pages contain little or no content (“Under Construction” message). Therefor, we do our best to keep webpages rich with content and create navigations to flow from section to section.

We do offer hosting and we can help with domain names as well, but we no longer offer hosting as a package because everyone’s hosting needs are different. With similar traffic, informational sites will typically use less bandwidth than sites with streaming video or photo galleries, so we customize hosting the options to specific needs to help ensure our clients save money.
